Is anyone aware of the location of a dodge ignition key with the coil mounted to the back of it. I would like to get one that works for my f10.

If your lock part is seized you may be in trouble. I bought a nos coil at Hershey a few years ago for my '29. I think I paid $10 for it. They are still around.

yes the lock tumbler is frozen. I assume the pot metal is junk. I was wondering if anyone had found a tumbler to replace the junk one. I have a second set (also frozen) and was able to get the tumbler out. but in very small pieces.
How reliable is the coil? I have not started yet but am close. I don't want to go to to much trouble to get the key working just to find out the coil is junk. But I do want to get it all back to original. Currently the previous owner put a coil on the fire wall and worked around the bad key.

I do not know of anyone making parts for the lock cylinder, maybe Glen in Australia? I have a few cylinders that are frozen but was lucky enough to find a good one. Check with the tech advisers from the club to see what years interchange. You can figure out which terminals to connect to test your coil by looking at the insides of the lock assembly. You may have to use the alternate coil and a toggle switch for a while until you find good parts.

I was able to custom fit a lock cylinder from a drawer lock. Just not great! I will keep looking and hopefully some day find one.
Thanks

Paul, Could you post a pic. of the front end where it mounts to the dash? Is there an actual key lock with a rectangular protrusion to operate the switch part of the coil like the '28 Dodge Brothers?
