Had the Dodge out tonight — finally! It should have more power now that the throttle valve is not half falling off. Still tinkering with idle speed and enrichment. NEXT QUESTION: Do these carbs stay cold all the time? The gooseneck into the block actually froze with condensate when the car started, and even after ten minutes driving around, it was very cold to the touch. Don’t these carbs warm up? I have a cork gasket connecting carb to block, and it seems to be sealing adequately. Thanks, all, for advice and parts.
