Hi group, I'm wondering if anybody knows of any reproduction running board cans? Like the old Boyco or Monarch sets - gas / oil / water?
I see them show up in stages of bad shape - ebay etc... I actually want a functioning gas can, I've hoped there might be reproductions. I'm not past trying to refurb an old can with liner if can find something better than basket case condition.

I foolishly walked away from a nice set at Hershey about 3 years ago. When I came to my senses and went back they were gone. They are a tough find.

Hi Jim,

What exact style are you looking for so we know what to look for?
Round, oval, square, rectangular ?
Spout on top in middle or offset?

Hi Dave, um, yes, yes, yes, yes! LOL well again I have naively hoped reproductions might be out there... So not to be too vague tho', I'm not dead set for any style. I have a vintage scissor running board rack, I'd settle for a single fuel can to carry there. I don't think I have the coin to dish for a vintage-but-for-show-only set, as I've seen pretty rough stuff for a few 100's.
