I've found 2 different wiring diagrams for my car. (1921 Touring)
One in the "Mechanics Instruction Manual" shows positive ground.
One in the "Book of Information 14th edition" shows negative ground. Which one is correct????
The car is currently wired positive ground with the amp meter running is reverse.

If it should be negative ground, any problems just reversing the polarity??

If you have the blue mechanics instruction manual they are a catchall manual for ALL four cylinder cars. Your car SHOULD be negative ground. Change it back see if your gauge reads right. The car really doesn't care which way it is, won't hurt anything either way. RULE OF THUMB is if the horn button is on the door it's negative. If on the steering wheel it's positive.

While the starter/generator can work ether way, the cutout needs to be wired the correct way. There is a difference between how it is wired. It is covered in the manual.
