My last issue was with the Clum switch which turned out to be unusable. After much searching I found someone who had a "gently used" switch we came to terms on. Then I decided I need to replace the wiring (long story involving overheated engine and melted plastic) along with the horn wire. So now I've got a usable light switch and new wiring to install (including the horn wire), but have found that when I took off the throttle advance linkage to clean it some 2 years ago, I now can't remember exactly how it goes back on. Of particular challenge is a notched ring that has a tab on one side. I'm guessing this is used to keep the throttle lever turning within a specific range of motion. I would think the tab fits into something stationary, preventing it from turning with the throttle advance, but can't figure out where.

I've attached two pictures: one of the bottom of the steering shaft where there is a spacer or collar I've already put in place, and the other is the rest of the throttle advance linkage. Can anyone help me figure out in what order the remaining parts go it? I know the light switch goes on last, but not sure how the tabbed ring fits in with the other remaining parts and I haven't been able to locate a diagram that show this.

File comment: The collar or spacer can be seen butted up against the bottom of the steering box.
