Hi folks. I recently acquired a 1925 DB that has been sitting in a pole barn for 10+ years. Here's the steps I plan to go through before turning the key. Is there anything I've missed or any other advice?
    Pump up tires
    Change oil
Drain gas tank and vacuum pump of old gas
Fill gas tank and vacuum pump with fresh gas
Remove spark plugs, give each cylinder a squirt of fogging oil, replace plugs
Hand-turn the motor a few rotations to make sure nothing is stuck
    Charge battery
    Fire it up

Thanks, John

Suggest using “Marvel Mystery Oil” to place in the cylinders.

Thanks Shermstake. I was going to add Marvel Mystery Oil to the oil and gas when I replace them. Any other tips? Should the spark advance level be fully retarded for starting, as in a Ford Model A?

Marvel Mystery Oil should be placed in the cylinders not in fuel or oil. It acts as a lubricant.
To start retard spark, set throttle lever to 1/2 and apply choke. Once it starts advance spark immediately. The engine will then start to run rough and then you remove choke.
I have a newly rebuilt engine and this does not fail.
Not knowing the condition of your engine good luck.
