Hi all, I'm back with the same question with a picture this time. For some reason i'm using this forum instead of members only forum. I still can't access it yet. Your looking from the rear of the car at the left rear axle. You notice the vertical tube. The top/cap does not come off but rotates to open or close an opening. It goes into the axle casting behind the roller bearings. I thought that area from the wheel bearing to the differential does not need to be lubed. Thanks, Joe C.

I could not find a members only forum. Is it still an option?

Hi Joe This is an oiler for the rear axle pivot . The rear axle pivots on the spring perches as there is only one universal on the drive. You just put oil in the top when you turn it to the open spot The oil will allow the axle to pivot without binding Tom
