Vern, the Victory Six is a little taller geared, I think 4.56 or something close to that. The center section, or "pumpkin" should fit right in.

While I was getting the Dakota inspected today I was going thu a parts book on ring and pinion gears and thought MAY B we could fine a suitable gear ratio like 3.9-1 and make it fit Will be looking into this .

Here in Australia a few guys have fitted Victory diff centrs to their D.A.s with little effort.
I even have one in line for my ute when the time comes to pull the original out for any reason.

hi Vern
Sorry for the delay. I only get on this forum occasionally and i may have my wires crosed a bit as it may be the fast 4 centr they used. It's so long ago now.
I remember that th front adjusting nuts are different on the one they used ( one instead of 2).
These cars were much lower revving at highway speed.
Sorry for the confusion
Graham
