My 1925 depot hack overheats. The water pump seems to be working, i can see coolant being pumped into the radiator. I flushed the radiator out good. I tighten the fan belt and it seems to be moving a good amount of air. The carb shield is open in the summertime position. No signs of head gasket issue. Just purchased the truck. Do these trucks tend to run that hot? I Would appreciate any help

What are the symptoms, overflowing as Mike said, … steam or ???
Could be a number of things (besides those you have mentioned) but we need to know what signs you are having first before we can hope to help.

Hi Dan, am just extending Mike's Q. I just ran mine ('23 Touring) in a parade yesterday - beforehand I topped my coolant, and mine was peeing out the overflow after the engine reached op temp, but wasn't overheating at all. I just overfilled a bit.
