What is the thickness of the facing material on the four discs of a muti-disc clutch? I had mine resurfaced and refaced. The clutch will not disengage. It is 1/2 inch thicker than a used clutch assembly obtained for comparison.

Well Don, I see no one is going to answer your question. Today, while scanning DBC stuff at AACA library, I came across a catalog from a brake and clutch lining company. It was not dated but did list " all four cylinder DBs" as being 1/8 inch for the clutch. SO I guess that would mean each side as 1/8 because the pieces were sold individually.

Thanks Doug. Since I posted this question, I contacted Tom Meyers. He now carries the clutch lining (which was not available 30 years ago.). His thickness is about .135 inch thick. So, Between your answer, Tom's data and the used clutch in hand .125 inch sounds correct. Thank you for your time finding the answer. Don
