What year was the top cowl vent added onto the touring cars? I am looking at a parts car for my 1925 touring, and it has a vent on the top of the cowl, but other than that the body looks the same. The car I am looking at has a fast four engine in it, but doesnt have front brakes. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

I think the cowl vent was used from '25 to '27. I don't think front brakes happened until '28.

Do you think that it was an option? My 1925 Touring does not have it, and neither does my parts car.

Not an option, but could be early/late item. I'd check the serial numbers.
